Abstract

1451052 Pivots ENTWISLE & GASS Ltd 11 Dec 1973 [12 Dec 1972] 57240/72 Heading E2F [Also in Division F2] A sleeve 92, which rotatably supports a gear 48, is mounted for angular movement on a hub 90 which has a cylindrical portion 104 and a tapered portion 106, a hollow pin 128 securing the sleeve 92 against rotation on the hub 90. Bearing inserts 95, 96 and 97 are provided between the sleeve 92 and the hub 90 and O-rings 100 retain lubricant in region in which the sleeve contacts the hub, to which region lubricant is supplied through a passage 124 and a bore 126 for the pin 128. The gear 48 is a planet gear in epicyclic gearing.
