Abstract

1444970 Lamps W R GERSCH 1 Nov 1973 [17 Nov 1972] 50896/73 Heading F4R [Also in Division G5] An illuminated display device providing moving light patterns of varying size and intensity comprises multiple lamps 10-18 in axially spaced groups rotating on driven shaft 8, each lamp being at a different radius from the shaft, an opaque screen or mask 23 bearing tansparent designs 24 surrounding the shaft and lamps, and external translucent screen or screens such as 3, 5, 6. A single translucent screen may be used in which case mask 23 only partially surrounds the lamps. The lamps may be of different colours.
