1436714 Medicinal preparations SANOL ARZNEIMITTEL DR SCHWARZ GmbH 8 May 1973 [18 May 1972] 21878/73 Heading A5B Medicinal preparations in unit dosage form and containing an active ingredient which is an iron or potassium compound, e.g. iron glycocoll sulphate complex, potassium chloride or potassium citrate, wherein the preparation comprises a dosing bottle or gelatin capsule within which are provided a plurality of pellets 0.5 to 2.5 mm in diameter, each pellet having a coating resistant to gastric juices, e.g. cellulose acetate phthalate or acrylic compounds such as Eudragit, may be prepared by forming pellets having a diameter of from 0.5 to 2.5 mm of an iron or potassium compound, coating the pellets with a substance resistant to gastric juices and loosely assembling a multitude of the coated pellets to larger dosage units within a dosing bottle or gelatin capsule.
