1433775 Stopping conveyed articles FOCKE & PFUHL 9 April 1973 [8 April 1972] 15297/73 Heading B8A In an apparatus for bringing articles travelling in two lines 10, 11 into a single line, articles in the lines 10, 11 are halted by respective barriers 10, 11 which include locking discs 24, 25 having recesses 30, 31, a movable locking member 32 being located between the discs 24, 25 such that, when one barrier is in its open position or is moving to that position, the member 32 engages the recess on the locking disc of the other barrier to lock such barrier in its halting position. The barriers are biased to their halting positions but pivot to their open positions when engaged by an article.
