Abstract

1426670 Clamping ring H WUNNENBERG 30 July 1974 [9 Aug 1973] 33548/74 Heading E2B A clamping ring comprises a strap having a plastics closure member 4 with catch elements 8, 9 with which a toothed end portion of the strap 17 engages the closure member comprises two side members 5 connected by spaced bridge pieces 6, 7 which are offset to lie on an upper side and flush with the strap the elements 8, 9 extend from the bridge pieces along the side members 5, the teeth 3 on the end portion of the strap extend laterally therefrom to engage the catch elements. The strap 17 has the form of a channel, and is reinforced by a bar 10. The closure member has a channel which is a continuation of that of the strap and is reinforced by side elements 24 extending from a bridge piece 7 and aligned with elements 9.
