Abstract

1421948 Photo-conductive member XEROX CORP 17 July 1973 [24 July 1972] 33924/73 Heading G2C A photo-conductive member capable of being charged to negative or positive potential, comprises 10-15 wt per cent of photo-conductive particles of CdS x Se y and 6-14 wt per cent 2,4,7-trinitrofluorenone dispersed in polyvinyl carbazole wherein x is 0À1 to 0À6 and y is 0.9 to 0.4 and x + y = 1. The particles are preferably uniformly dispersed and not greater than 2 microns. The member may be formed on an aluminium sheet or other conductive substrate.
