Abstract

1421095 Overhead projector G RITZERFELD 14 May 1974 [23 June 1973] 21279/74 Heading G2J An overhead projector has two lamps 2, 3 mounted on a common frame 1 which is displaceable perpendicularly to the optical path so that each of the two lamps is selectively movable into an operative position. As shown, lamp 2 is in the operative position. If it fails, a lever 8 is manually operated to move frame 1 and to operate contacts 11 which switch off lamp 2, switch on lamp 3 and energize a warning lamp (not shown) indicating that lamp 2 requires replacement. The lamps are housed in a box 12 which is vertically displaceable by cam disc segments 19 to accommodate different projection distances.
