Abstract

1418351 Radiators for heating or cooling buildings NORDZENT TEKNIK AB 9 Jan 1973 [12 Jan 1972 21 June 1972 23 Nov 1972] 1204/73 Heading F4S A combined sound absorbing baffle and space heating or cooling device intended to be suspended below a ceiling, comprises two vertically spaced tube lengths 10, 11 for conveying heating or cooling fluid, between which is disposed a rectangular box structure containing a flat sided element 12 or elements 12a, 12b of sounddampening material and formed by a pair of perforated plates 13, 14 the upper and lower margins of which are in heat conducting relationship with the respective tubes 10, 11. In Fig. 1 a carrying bar 15 is clamped to the tube length 11 by clips 21 and the lower margins of the plates 13, 14 are received in outwardly directed branches 19, 20 of the carrying bar. At their upper ends, the plates 13, 14 are shaped as at 22 to embrace the tube length 10 and are clamped thereto by clips 24. Alternatively as in Fig. 2, the upper plate margins are received and secured in slots formed in a carrying bar 25 which is clamped to the tube length 10 by a resilient member 30.
