Abstract

1414525 Valves HYDRAULIQUE BG 3 Nov 1972 [4 Nov 1971] 50882/72 Heading F2V Main distributing valves T1-T3 arranged in a bank are connected to faces N1-N3 of respective piston actuators V1-V3 connected to supply and return lines P, R via connector tubes 18, each actuator having a pilot valve mounting face with pores C, D (connected to lines RP respectively) and ports E, F connected to opposite sides of the actuator piston 12 (Fig. 5). Each pilot valve S has ports complementary to ports C-F and may be mounted on the actuator via the intermediary of an auxiliary unit Z which may contain, e.g., a non- return valve or a throttle. The pilot valve may be operated by solenoids or by fluid pressure, and the main valve members may additionally be operable manually. Main valve T4 in the bank has no actuator V connected thereto so longer tubes 18<SP>1</SP> are used to connect actuator V1 to valve Vs controlling the supply and return flows.
