Abstract

1383842 Valves DE LIMON FLUHME & CO 8 March 1972 [11 March 1971] 10692/72 Heading F2V A valve for controlling lubricant, comprises a valve member 6 slidable in a cylinder by an attached actuating piston 3 subjected to actuating fluid pressure via connections A, B. In the position shown, the member 6 communicates connection X with connection Y via transverse and longitudinal passages 13, 12 in the member 6. Excessive pressure acting on end 11 of member 6 or a suitable pressure differential across piston 3, causes the member 6 to rise sufficiently to communicate connection Y with connection Z. The valve may be plugged at connection X or Z so as to function as a simple two-way valve, or arranged to operate as a cutoff and/or pressure regulator valve, as a safety valve or as a pressure divider.
