1411909 Variable speed gear ORSHANSKY TRANSMISSION CORP 4 June 1973 [25 Sept 1972] 26608/73 Addition to 1364962 Heading F2D In the compound hydromechanical planetary gear of the parent Specification 1,364,962 the suns, planets, carriers and ring gears of the two basic trains are all identical respectively with each other. Alternatively the two suns may be formed as a common sun. In a three train embodiment the elements of the third train may also be identical with, or different from, those of the two basic trains and an additional variabledisplacement hydrostatic unit may be provided and be mechanically clutchable to the fixed displacement unit.
