Abstract
1410620 Mechanical switches A FISCHER 19 Dec 1972 [20 Dec 1971] 58552/72 Heading H1N An electric switch suitable for operation in a stack of similar switches 1A, 1B, 1C, Fig. 1 mounted on a unitary support 15, comprises a contact assembly mounted to extend within a recess 5 of an actuating lever 3 whereby movement of the lever 3 actuates the switch. In the particular embodiment each lever 3 is pivoted to the fixed casing 2 on a pin 4 and projects from the casing in the manner of a push-button. One part of each lever 3 engages a moveable contact spring 9 whereby a contact 8 moves between a pair of fixed contacts 7, the spring 9 also acting as a restoring spring to render each lever 3 retractive. In the stacked arrangement shown an enlarged end of each lever 3 engages the lever 3 of the adjacent switch.
