Abstract

1402702 Cutting tools SANDVIK AB 29 Nov 1973 [13 Dec 1972] 55493/73 Heading B3B A cutting tool comprises a lever 20 located in a recess in the holder 10, and having a leg 22 for clamping an insert 11, and a second leg 23 actuated by a screw 24 so as to pivot about a fulcrum 25. An insert support plate 13 is secured in the recess by a resilient tubular pin 14, and the lever is urged upwardly by a spring 30. Upper leg 22 may be let into a recess 30 in the insert Fig. 3. The recess may be countersunk, Fig. 4 (not shown).
