Abstract

1402111 Electromagnetic relays MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC WORKS Ltd 22 Aug 1972 [1 Sept 1971] 39092/72 Heading H1N An electromagnetic relay has a biasing spring 1 acting between its armature 9 and a stationary part 8 of the relay along a line such that the biasing force reduces as the armature moves to its attracted position. The armature has extensions 10 rockable on the stationary part 8 which is secured by a screw to the relay base 5 and receives projections 31, 33 in holes 32, 34 to support the yoke 1 which has an aperture 35 to permit movement of the armature end 36. The latter end has bearing pins 12 for the spring 11 and is coupled to a card member 27 which has parts 28 co-operating with fixed contact springs 18, 22 on opposite sides of a fixed contact spring 15. The effective biasing force on the armature is the sum of the forces of the spring 11 and the contact springs.
