Abstract

1402025 Projection printing EASTMAN KODAK Co 12 Sept 1972 [13 Sept 19711 42364/72 Heading G2A An image of variable magnification is projected on to a fixed print plane 53 from a transparency 47 carried in a carriage 21 with the aid of a lens system 49 carried in a second carriage 23, the carriages being slidable on a common guide bar 25, being connected by a constant tension spring 27, and being correctly spaced by means of a bellcrank which is pivotally connected to an arm 37 of the lens carriage 23, has one arm slidable within a forked arm 33 of transparency carriage 21 and has the other arm slidable within a suitably shaped cam groove 31. The lens carriage may be driven directly, e.g. by a chain belt drive.
