1401677 Epoxy resins DOW CHEMICAL CO 16 Aug 1972 [19 Aug 1971] 38302/72 Heading C3B [Also in Divisions C2 and C4] Epoxy resins are made by reacting compounds (I) when Q is H or C 1-10 alkyl; each R is C 1-12 alkyl, phenyl or C 3-6 cycloalkyl: each y is H or CH 3 ; each Z is H or a radical (II); X is Cl, Br or NO 2 ; each m is 0 or 1; each p is 0, 1 or 2 and each n is 0 or an integer of 1-6 and optionally other mono- or polyfunctional epoxides or mixtures thereof with conventional curing agents. The polymers have conventional applications many of which are listed.
