1400155 Automatic circuit-breakers J A CRABTREE & CO Ltd 10 Aug 1972 [17 Nov 1971] 53331/71 Heading H1N In a moulded-case circuit-breaker having a bimetallic overload and magnetic short-circuit tripping device 9, 18, a moving contact arm 11 pivotally connected to an operating lever 5 and an "over-centre" tension spring 19 connected between the arm 11 and a pivoted trip plate 17, the contact arm 11 has abutting engagement with a fulcrum 31 in the case so that positive actuation of the contact arm 11 by the lever 5 can be obtained in the event of the contacts 12, 13 welding together.
