Abstract

1397519 Knitted garments ATKINS OF HINCKLEY Ltd 20 Feb 1974 [9 May 1973] 22118/73 Heading A3V [Also in Division Dl] In making a garment, two knitted tubular fabrics having a turned elasticated welt at each end are cut, opened out and seamed along the edges leaving apertures for armholes. Tubular sleeves having turned elasticated cuffs may be sewn into the apertures. Depending on the length of the upper welt the garment may have a crew-, turtle-, or polo-neck. The garment may be a T-shirt, shirt, vest, jumper or sweater.
