Abstract

1395997 Electric connections CORNING GLASS WORKS 22 Sept 1972 43882/72 Heading H2E A connector for connecting a conductor 52 to a refractory electrode 26 comprises a retainer 36 secured at one end 38 by a screw 42 within a bore 32 and carrying at the other end 44 a resilient member such as a spring 60 and a pressure plate 47 which urge the conductor 52 into connection with the electrode. A nut 68 on the end 44 clamps the spring and plate against the conductor.
