Abstract
1395892 Vehicle frames P B TASKER 14 Aug 1972 [18 May 1971] 15419/71 Heading B7B A vehicle load carrying frame includes a three way corner piece 2, 3, a pair of members 1 connected to the corner piece and a removable corner post 4 adapted to be received within the recess defined by the members and corner piece. The post may be secured to the plate 3 of the corner piece by a bolt (7) (Fig. 3, not shown) welded to the post and adapted to be received through a bore 10 in the plate. If lead retaining side and end boards (Fig. 5, not shown) are to be used with the frame, these are secured by an angle section 14 securable to plate 3 by a welded stud 17 and having a retaining cap 12 with a skirt 13, the cap and skirt engaging the top of the boards and post to prevent upward movement thereof.
