Abstract

1393872 Ventilators COLT INTERNATIONAL Ltd 26 May 1972 [2 June 1971] 18559/71 Heading F4V A roof or wall mounted ventilator comprises walls 12 defining a rectangular ventilation aperture 14, an exterior duct 20, drain channels 15 and a louvre assembly 40 which overlies two opposite walls 12 and forms a cover for the aperture 14 in its closed position, each louvre blade having side flanges 48 which in said closed position overlap to form at least part of wall formations projecting between said opposite walls 12 and duet 20. The channels 15 have outlets to the exterior of duet 20. The louvre blades are simultaneously operable by links 52 which also form drains. In another embodiment (Fig. 7), two walls 12 form part of the duct 20, which is provided with upper and lower air outlets (20d, 20c).
