Abstract

1393699 Endoscope SPOT-SHOT Ltd 31 July 1973 [10 Aug 1972] 37414/72 Heading G2J An endoscope of conventional construction uses a high intensity light e.g. a quartz-halogen bulb that is liquid cooled. The bulb 10 may be in a chamber with an annular liquid coolant in the surrounding annulus, the coolant being supplied by pump 23 and cooled at 24. Light conduction down the endoscope is by quartz rod or optic fibres.
