Abstract

1391035 Laminated building module PANOKRAFT CORP OF CANADA Ltd 8 Feb 1973 [11 Feb 1972] 6131/73 Heading B5N [Also in Division E1] A laminate supplied as a flat building panel for folding about score lines, such as 24, Fig. 4B, to define a box-beam consists of a paperboard base having at least four parallel score lines suitably spaced to allow folding to this end and at least three discrete facings of glass fibre reinforced plastic layers thereon. After folding the component parts of the beam and adjacent beams are stapled and glued together to form roof and wall panels 70, 72-see Fig. 6. The hollow wall beams are secured to a base 74 by spigots in the form of wooden blocks 76 glued to the bore whilst the roof beams 70 are secured to a ridge support structure 78, 80, 82 by means of a stapled extension 84. For numerous minor details concerning joints between wall and roof beams involving a connector plate, door and window openings, sealing joints, preformed modules, materials employed &c. the Specification and remaining drawings (not shown) should be referred to.
