1386141 Bottle caps JOHNSEN & JORGENSEN (PLASTICS) Ltd 19 March 1973 [7 April 1972] 16097/72 Heading B8T A protective sleeve for wine bottles has a tear band 8 with tab 9 defined by cut-out portions 14, 15 along the top and lines of weakness 10, 11 around the skirt. Internal projections (17) Fig. 2 (not shown) help to secure the sleeve when it is pushed on to the neck of a bottle. The sleeve has two annular recesses (18), (19), Fig. 2 (not shown), and a thick portion (20) designed so that the annular flange of a wine bottle (4), Fig. 1 (not shown), is evident even when the sleeve is in place.
