Abstract

1381375 Knitting-machines FABRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL SA 5 April 1973 [7 April 1972] 16369/73 Heading D1C A V-bed machine includes four thread guides, a series of adjustable stops and a thread catcher and cutter, so that two rib fabrics can be knitted simultaneously on the same head. The stops 13-13''' are adjustable so that fabrics of different width can be knitted, by two guides 9 and 10, 11 and 12 respectively moving between each pair. Guides 9, 11 supply draw thread, guides 10, 12 supply thread for the rib fabrics. The threads of the right hand blank are cut by a conventional cutter at the right end of the needle beds. Mounted between the fabrics is a hook 15, controlled by a pneumatic cylinder 18, to draw the threads of the other blank between the blades of cutter 34.
