Abstract

1377431 False twist device HEBERLEIN & CO AG 10 Feb 1972 [10 Feb 1971] 6388/72 Heading DID A false twist tube comprises a twist locking device which is arranged in an enlarged internal portion of the tube and which includes at least two yarn guides, at least one of which is a pin, spaced apart in the direction of travel of the yarn through the tube. One of the guides is displaced laterally with respect to the yarn direction and the guides are positioned so that the total of the angles subtended by the parts of the yarn in contact with the guides is not greater than 300‹ and is sufficient to avoid irregularities in the twisting. The guides may comprise end tube portions projecting into the enlarged internal portion of the twist-tube, Fig. 7 not shown.
