Abstract

1375896 Shaft couplings BENDIX CORP 19 June 1972 [30 June 1971 (2)] 28534/72 Heading F2U A flexible coupling between two parts, e.g. a shaft (40), Fig. 1 (not shown), and a plate (20) of an electromagnetic clutch, comprises a disc 7 perforated to provide a pattern comprising a central circular portion 50, 60 from which extend radially outwardly a first set of strips 52, 61 joined at their outer ends by a second set of strips 51, 70, each strip of one or other sets having a centreline which is S-shaped within the plane of the disc. The disc 7 may be joined by rivets in holes 9 to the plate (20).
