Abstract

1375800 Mechanical garages/vehicle lifts CROWN PARKING CO Inc PARKING SYSTEMS ENG Inc and 6301 CORP [trading as CROWN PARKING PRODUCTS CO] 25 April 1973 19524/73 Headings B8E and B8H Car parking apparatus comprises a pair of laterally spaced vertical stanchions 22 carrying rails 28F, 28R on their front and rear faces, a subframe 14 carrying vertically spaced rollers 62F, 62R which engage the rails 28F, 28R, a platform 76 supported by the sub-frame 14 and extending more to one side of the stanchions 22 than the other so as to bias the rollers against the rails when the platform is loaded, and rams 60 for raising the platform 76. Latches are provided for locking the platform on its elevated position. The upper portion 22U of each stanchion is lifted rearwardly to give the elevated platform a rearward slope.
