1373474 Windscreen wipers SOC ANON POUR L'EQUIPEMENT ELECTRIQUE DES VEHICULES SEV MARCHAL 22 Jan 1973 [20 Jan 1972] 3213/73 Heading A4F In a windscreen wiper, a blade 6 is mounted in a resilient plastics cylindrical member 8 which is rotatable within hinge members 2a, 2b at the ends of frame 2. Further hinge members 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b may be provided at the ends of rocker levers 4, 5 and more than one cylindrical member 8 may be associated with the blade 6. At the extremes of the wiper blade stroke, the blade rotates through an angle defined by the spacing between the free ends of the hinge arms 7a, 7b and shoulder portions 13a, 13b of the member 8. Each end of the cylindrical member 8 is thermally deformed to inhibit longitudinal movement of the blade 6 relative thereto.
