Abstract

1366641 Urea/magnesium compound fertilizer compositions FISONS Ltd 9 Feb 1972 [15 Feb 1971] 4691/71 Heading C1B A solid composition for use as a fertilizer comprises at least 50% by weight urea in admixture with a substantially anhydrous magnesium salt or compound (other than the oxide), said salt or compound containing not more than 1 mol of water per mol of Mg. Specified magnesium salts are the sulphate, nitrate, tetraborate and double salts such as potassium magnesium sulphate and may be commercially available materials or materials obtained by drying or calcination of salts or compounds containing water. Other fertilizers, trace elements, coating agents, pigments, carriers and bulking agents also may be present.
