Abstract

1364857 Stands F BARTELS 2 Sept 1971 [28 Sept 1970] 40965/71 Heading A4H [Also in Division A6] A load bearing assembly comprises a horizontal platform 11 mounted on a sub-structure 12, said sub-structure consisting of a plurality of vertical units, e.g. 40, 60, 70, 100 each unit being formed from a rectangular sheet of substantially rigid material scored and folded to form the unit. Different forms of units are disclosed see Figs. 5-10 (not shown) and some are secured, e.g. by stitching, stapling, adhesive to form a closed tube. The units may be received in respective cells of a latticestructure formed by inter-engaging slotted strips 31, 33 (32) Fig.3 (not shown), or they may be secured together. The units may be secured to the lattice work by e.g. staples, cementing, glueing. The units and lattice-structure may comprise corrugated cardboard, and the platform wood. The assembly may be stepped.
