1363292 Drying apparatus; conditioning air SEALED MOTOR CONSTRUCTION CO Ltd 28 Jan 1972 [28 Jan 1971] 3391/71 Headings F4G and F4V The subject matter of this specification is similar to that described in Specification 1,363,291, but the claims are directed to an air conditioning unit, and are concerned with an auxiliary fan for passing more air over the evaporator of the vapour compression refrigerating plant in order to cool the air below its dew-point. The present specification discloses an auxiliary fan added to the embodiments shown in Figs. 1 and 2 of Specification 1,363,291, discloses a further embodiment in which heat is ejected from the apparatus by not thermally insulating the cabinet, and the auxiliary fan is only activated when the humidity in the chamber rises to a preset value, so as to pass more air over the evaporator. An electric heater and a desiccant are provided.
