1360430 Shuttering blocks E BLUM 21 Oct 1971 [24 Oct 1970 28 April 1971] 48874/71 Heading E1B Shuttering blocks for cladding external walls (not shown) comprise a cast in situ concrete core 2 formed between inner and outer shells 1, 3 respectively, wherein the outer shell 3 is provided with an inner insulating layer 7 and the two shells are held in fixed separation by a latticework 11 embedded in each. The inner and outer shells are formed of concrete the insulating layer is expanded polyurethane and the steel latticework is provided with thermoplastics insulating sheaths 12 extending from the outer shell into the core. Separate elements are positioned with their adjacent edges separated by a sealing strip. After casting a flexible sealing compound is placed in the outside gap.
