Abstract

1360395 Reversible seats DEVON CONVERSIONS Ltd 15 Nov 1971 [20 Aug 1970] 40169/70 Headings A4H and A4J A reversible seat for a vehicle such as a caravan comprises a base 8 slidably mounted on rails 10 secured to the vehicle floor and a seating member 15 having integral back, seat and arm rests 16, 17, 18 respectively, the seating member being movable from a forwardly facing position Fig. 1, (not shown) to a rearwardly facing position Fig. 2, (not shown) in which access is made for a table, guide members 13 provided at each corner of the base form guide channels 14 in which the seating member 15 is removably supported. The seating member may be used to form a bed surface with a fixed seat of the vehicle. The base which may be used as a locker is closed by the seat rest 17 and a lid 19.
