Abstract
1360383 Protective circuit, radio transmitting apparatus TESLA NARODNI PODNIK 24 Jan 1973 [28 Jan 1972] 3646/73 Headings H3W and H4L The output valves of an anode modulated transmitter are protected from flash-over by detecting the excess current therethrough and causing an electronic switch to apply a voltage to the modulator stages input to produce a 100% modulation trough. The switch may either disconnect completely the preamplifier when applying said voltage (Fig. 2, not shown) or apply it to the input while the preamplifier is connected (Fig. 3, not shown). If the modulator has push-pull inputs, a switch is provided in each input.
