Abstract

1356597 Deburring gears ZAHNRADFABRIK FRIEDRICHSHAFEN AG 26 Aug 1971 [24 Sept 1970] 40021/71 Heading B3K A device for deburring an internal gear 10 comprises a guide gear 1 adapted to mesh with gear 10 and carried on a shaft 4 driven by a motor, work gear 10 being floatingly mounted on a chuck 6 and urged into engagement with gear 1 by a pressing element 12 rotatably mounted on a movable slide 5, element 12 engaging the outer periphery of gear 10. The axial forces generated during deburring are absorbed by a support 16 mounted on a base 7 by a linkage. Two edge rolling gears 2, 3, are mounted on gear 1 for chamfering the edges of gear 10. Slide 5 is moved on rails 9 by an hydraulic motor 8. In a modification pressing wheel 12 is replaced by a bracket 13, Fig. 2, having rollers 14, 15, for engagement with the work gear. Gears 1, 2 and 3, may be replaced by a single gear.
