Abstract

1355634 Clamps MECANO-SIMMONDS GmbH 31 Jan 1973 [8 Feb 1972] 4963/73 Heading E2B A securing clamp includes a clamping arm 14 and a support portion 16 and a screw 4 rotatably mounted therebetween for tightening the clamp, the screw carrying an angle-section securing element one limb 2 of which has a threaded hole 3 for the screw and the other limb 5 of which has a clamping tongue bent 6 out of the plane of and generally parallel to the limb 5. As shown, the tongue 6 is insertable in an aperture 7 of a flange 8 forming part of an appliance and the clamping arm is rotated so that the bent over portion 18 thereof lies adjacent the flange, the screw then being rotated to clamp the member 10 between the casing 11 of the appliance and the arm 14.
