A band clamp of the type incorporating a flexible metal strip 10 to pass about an object to be clamped, a housing secured at or near one end of the strip, and a screw in the housing to coact with teeth on the strip, has its housing attached to the strip 10 by tongues 14, bent from the undersurface of the housing and held in slots of the strip 10 by tongues 12 which are bent from the strip.
