1353738 Vehicle doors CHRYSLER UNITED KINGDOM Ltd 22 June 1971 [22 July 1970] 35571/70 Headings B7B and B7J In a vehicle body a door 9 is hinged at one edge 13 to a door post 10 and is provided at its other edge 16 with a locking member 17 engageable in a retaining plate 19 on door post 20 and a reinforcing cable or rod 14 extends between the hinge 11, 12 and locking member 17. The member 17 is axially adjustable to vary the tension in the reinforcing member. The door may be provided with several hinges and locking members, a reinforcing member interconnecting each pair.
