Abstract

1351041 Suspended ceilings NOREMA AS 7 June 1971 19282/71 Heading E1W A suspended ceiling framework comprises undercut U-section girders 31 with outwardly directed flanges extending from the mouth to support ceiling panels 25. The girders 31 are joined to perpendicular wall mounted elements 31' or to similar girders by means of a spring metal clip 14 which engages the undercut portion at the end of a girder 31 and provides an upwardly extending hook 16 which engages under a lip 21 on the lateral outwardly directed side of a further girder 31 or element 31'. The downwardly directed channel of each framework element may include a screw bolt with a shaped plate engaging the undercut portion when rotated through 90‹. This screw bolt thus clamped in position may be the means whereby a partition wall is secured at its top edge, see Fig. 8 (not shown).
