Abstract
1351008 Transformers SONY CORP 9 Aug 1971 [13 Aug 1970] 37325/71 Heading HIT A device for supplying power to apparatus 1 comprises a transformer 2 having two identical primary windings 7a, 7b arranged to be connected in series or in parallel by a connection changer 6 in dependence upon the supply voltage (say 110 V. or 240 V.), and a fuse 9 or 10 provided in series with each winding. The windings may be tapped to permit operation with other supply voltages.
