1345753 Vehicle container; loading container traffic MASCHINENFABRIK FAHR AG 6 Oct 1971 [12 Oct 1970] 46400/71 Headings B8E and B8Q [Also in Divisions Al and B7] An agricultural vehicle has a U-shaped frame 1 with a lever system 9 mounted on it to pick up a variety of containers with associated implements. A frame member 6 is pivoted at one end about axle 7 and is connected at its other end to the frame 1 by a locking device 8. The lever system 9 comprises easy-tong members 10, 11. Member 10 is pivoted about axle 7 and member 11 is slideably mounted in the member 6. The height to which the container is lifted is controlled by an automatic locking device 15 (e.g. as in Specification 1,288,991). The container can be tipped by releasing the device 8. Members 10, 11 have at their upper ends a roller 12 and a pocket 13 respectively which co-operate with projections 17, 18 on the container which is deposited on the ground for subsequent conveyance. The lifting system is motivated by lifting cylinder 14. Container 16 has a manure spreader 19 located at its rear comprising two spreading rollers 20 rotatable about vertical axles mounted in a supporting frame 21 coupled to container 16 by quick-release catches 22, permitting replacement of spreader 19 by a tailboard. The bottom of container 16 is formed by a scraper chain 23 which, together with rollers 20, is driven by the tractor. There are various other embodiments employing different containers and implements. In Fig. 3 (not shown) the vehicle carries a liquid container (28) secured in an apparatus frame (31) carried as is the container 16 above. The container (28) may be emptied by tilting lifting lever system 9. Other implements may be mounted in frame (31). In Fig. 6 (not shown) projections 17, 18 are located on the liquid manure container (28). A worm pump (32) for discharging the liquid manure and driven by shaft (33) is attached to container (28) which may be supported on the ground by leg brackets (34). In Fig. 5 (not shown) liquid container (28) has an attached spraying device (35) and pump (36) replacing the worm pump, both driven by shaft (33). In Fig. 6 (not shown) container (37) is combined with spreader (38) driven by shaft (33). In Fig. 7 (not shown) a loading platform (39) may be picked up and has four support brackets (40) which can be folded up during travel. In Fig. 8 (not shown) a conventional loose-material container (41) is provided with chaff attachment (42). When full the container (41) can be covered with netting (44). Attachment sideboards and tailboards (43) may be used to increase the capacity of a container.
