Abstract

1345256 Digger tooth assembly AMSTED INDUSTRIES INC 19 April 1971 [13 April 1970] 24859/71 Headings E1F and E1G A digger tooth assembly has an implementengaging support whose wedge-shaped nose 20, Fig. 5, is received in a wedge-shaped cavity 56 of a tooth point, the converging wedging surfaces 64, 66, 68, 70 in the cavity being urged into contact with the corresponding nose surfaces 30, 32, 34, 36 by a resilient pin located in aligned nose and tooth-point apertures. The nose and cavity have spaced converging surfaces 22, 58 and 24, 60, spaced side surfaces 26, 61 and 28, 62, and spaced end surfaces. The pin, Fig. 6 comprising members 85, 87, connected by resilient member 88, is locked in the apertures by the mating of tapered pin surfaces 89, 90 with corresponding surfaces in the spaced tooth point apertures.
