Abstract

1344823 Stacking cartons DRG PACKAGING Ltd 19 April 1971 [25 Feb 1970] 9101/70 Heading B8P A carton, which may be of cardboard, has a portion 4 surrounding the base 2 which is folded to extend downwardly below the base to form a flange which locates on the top of a lower carton when stacked. The carton walls taper inwardly at the top to facilitate stacking. Flaps 20, 34 on one pair of walls are enclosed between double end walls 6, 8 and flaps 10 lie on the inside of the base. One side 24 has slits 32 so that that wall is lower than the opposite wall 14 and leaves a gap between stacked cartons.
