Abstract

1339390 Vehicle lamps FIAT SpA 1 Nov 1972 [8 Nov l971] 50328/72 Heading F4R A signal lamp for vehicles comprises a plate 2 having a hollow boss 4 projecting therefrom, a pair of electrical contacts 9 mounted on the plate with their ends 11 extending into the boss and their ends 12 shaped to hold resiliently the contact cap 13 of a lamp bulb 14, and a domeshaped light transmitting cover 15 rigidly secured to the plate, e.g. by glue, the lamp having means for snap engagement with an opening in a vehicle body panel 18 through which the boss 4 extends. The means consist of a tooth 6 on the boss and a resilient V-shaped arm 7 on the plate. A protective hood 19 covers the open end of the boss.
