Abstract

1338553 Refrigeration cabinets ELECTRICITY COUNCIL 15 Dec 1970 [15 Dec 1969] 61042/69 Headings F4U and F4H A refrigeration cabinet comprises an outer insulating, jacket 10 with a removable insulating lid 11, an inner liner 12 containing a eutectic solution and a refrigeration unit, the evaporator coil of which is disposed within the insulating jacket for removing heat from the eutectic solution during "off-peak" tariff periods of the electricity supply. In another embodiment the coil is disposed within the liner. The evaporator coil may be connected to the remainder of the refrigeration unit by quick release self-sealing couplings, the cabinet then being portable.
