1338099 Spray producers; mixing liquids SECMER SA 17 Nov 1971 [18 Nov 1970] 53255/71 Headings B1C and B2F In a spray-gun for spraying a product formed of two constituents which comprises a body 1, Fig. 2, to which is removably secured a wiring head 16 which includes a mixing chamber 20 communicating with a jet 22 and supply passage for each constituent, a solvent supply circuit is provided in the body 1 which circuit is respectively connectable to each supply passage, mounting means 30, Fig. 5, also being provided whereby the head 16 can be reversibly secured to the body 1 so that solvent can be supplied to flow through the mixing chamber 20 and each jet 22 in the opposite direction to normal constituent flow. Constituents are supplied to the chamber 20 through pipes 27, 28 and bores 5, 6, 13c, 13d which are controlled by axially movable spring biased needles 9, 10 which engage seatings 13a and are operated independently by hand levers (4a, 4b), Fig. 1 (not shown). The solvent is supplied through an upper passage (29) Fig. 3 (not shown), which communicates with either or both of the bores 13c, 13d via respective vertical passages (13e), depending on which lever or levers (4a), (4b) are operated. The head 16 is secured to a washer 13 by a nut 17 and the spray nozzle 19 is held by a nut 18 against a seal 25. Both nuts 17, 18 must be removed before the mixing head 16 can be reversibly mounted.
