Abstract

1337612 Ice-skate MITCHEL & KING SKATES Ltd 26 April 1972 [26 April 1971] 11438/71 Heading A6D In an ice-skate having a longitudinal tubular member 4 reinforcing the blade 2 and attached to it by means of flanges 5 and support members 10 extending upwardly from the tube 4, the support members 10 are attached to the tube 4 by extensions 12 which wrap completely around the tube 4 up to the flanges 5. The support members 10 are preferably cupshaped and solder 16 is run into them during assembly so as to strengthen the joint between the cup and the tube and the extrusions 12 may be spot welded to the tube as at 13.
