Abstract

1336329 Ratchet mechanism SIEMAG SIEGENER MASCHINENBAU GmbH 19 April 1971 [12 March 1970] 23859/71 Heading F2Q In a spoked wheel conveying means for rolled stock including spoked wheels fixed on a rotatable shaft 1, indexing means for rotating the shaft 1 in steps comprises a ratchet wheel 2 secured to shaft 1 and having a plurality of indentations 3 around its periphery adapted to receive a driving roller 10 and a locking roller 19. The driving roller 10 is mounted on an arm 8 pivotally secured to one end of a two-armed lever 4 which is pivotally mounted about the axis of shaft 1. The other end of the lever 4 is adapted to be driven by means including a double acting fluid pressure medium cylinder 7. The locking roller 19 is carried by a rocking arm 16 pivotally mounted at one end 15 and having the other end driven by means including a pressure medium cylinder 17. The roller 10 is moved into and out of engagement with the indentations 3 by means including a double-acting fluid pressure medium cylinder 13.
