1333386 Coating with aluminium:annealing aluminium ALBRIGHT & WILSON Ltd 22 Oct 1970 [27 Oct 1969 5 Dec 1969] 52580/69 and 59405/69 Headings C7F and C7N An aluminium surface which is to be heated in contact with another aluminium surface is coated, before heating, with a compound, e.g. succinic, oxalic, acetic or malonic acids or ammonium nitrate to form an oxide during heating and prevent the surfaces from stocking. The compound may be mixed with a wetting agent. Examples are described of aluminizing steel strip in the form of a coil, and annealing coils or stacks of aluminium sheets is referred to.
